Obituary of John Peter Tavella

TAVELLA, John Peter – Peacefully in the arms of his family at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at the age of 59 years. Loving husband and best friend of Debbie for 38 years. Proud and devoted Dad of Christie Ross (Ian), Mandy, Sheri, and his late furry friend Baxter. Cherished Nonno of Addison and Carter. Dear son of the late Oliva and Ferruccio Tavella. Brother of Anna Rinaldi (late Aldo) and Rita White (Rodger). Son-in-law of Hazel Mitchell (late Don). Brother-in-law of Wayne Mitchell, Doug Mitchell (Doris) and Carole Mousseau (Mike). John will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. John was a hard working and respected man who was loved and will be missed by many great friends. John was well known for his love of hockey, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. A service will be held at the St. Monica’s Church on Monday, October 26, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating and a celebration of life to follow.
