WARD, Marilyn “Walking White Buffalo Woman” – Went to be with her Creator and other loved ones that went on before her. Marilyn passed away on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at the age of 60 years. 

Beloved wife of the late Raymond Tookenay. Loving mother of Michelle and her husband John and their son Ryder, her son Jonathan who shares children Kori-Rae, Carter, Mercedes with Isabelle, he also shares children Rosalie and Stella with Davina and her youngest daughter Margaret and her partner Keith and their children Noah and Keiran. Dear daughter of the late Marvina and James Ward. Loving sister of Wanda, the late Jeanette (late Rob), late Verna (late Roger), late Margaret (Orville), late Alice (Wolfgang) and her brothers the late James (Christine), late Lester (late Janet), and late Freddy (late Cleo). Marilyn will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Francis Regis Church, Mobert on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. A traditional funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday September 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.
