Obituary of Owen James Kwissiwa

KWISSIWA, Owen James – Passed away suddenly at Sante Manitouwadge Health on Saturday September 2, 2023 at the age of 21 years.

Beloved son of Belinda Willet and Thurston Kwissiwa. Loving brother of Logan Kwissiwa and Nolan Kwissiwa, Uriah Taylor, Genesis Taylor and Harmony Taylor. Cherished grandson of Gina Desmoulin, James Kwissiwa and Kathy Willet. Owen will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Regis Church, Mobert on Monday September 11, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until time of the traditional funeral service on Wednesday September 13, 2023 at 12:00 noon. A feast will follow at the Netmizaaggamig Centre for Education. Cremation will follow at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.
