Obituary of Athena Rayleen May Whitestarr
WHITESTARR, Athena “Nana” - Passed away peacefully at her Kokum and Papa’s home in Thunder Bay with her family by her side on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the young age of 6 years after a battle with cancer.
Beloved daughter of Dilyn E.J. White and Desiree Starr. Loving sister of Alexia and Madysyn. Dear granddaughter of Delores Keesickquayash and Phil Vaillant and the late Dale Starr. Dear great granddaughter of the late Sally Starr. Great niece of Tim and Barb Wipp and niece of Megan Pashawon, Jordan Toulouse (Krystal), Dayle Starr, Lindsay Starr, Tanner Wabigwan, Precious Wabigwan and the late Patience MacKinnon. Athena will be lovingly remembered by her many great aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Church, Biigtigong Nishnaabeg First Nation on Thursday July 13, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. A funeral mass will follow on Friday July 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Cemetery.
