Obituary of William Saylors
SAYLORS, William – Passed away peacefully with his brother by his side at the Bignucolo Residence at the age of 76 years.
Dear son of the late Edna and Harvey Saylors. Loving brother of John Saylors. He will be remembered by his cousins Marjorie Cachagee Lee, Mike Cachagee and Brad Mercier and other extended family.
William will be lovingly remembered as a very generous man to the residents of Chapleau Cree First Nation (Fox Lake) as well to other members of the surrounding communities. He was a proud member of the Chapleau Cree First Nation, a veteran of the USA military and a veteran of the Vietnam War.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and all of the support staff at the Bignucolo Residence for the care given to William over the last few years while he was a resident there.
A Celebration of his life will be held at the Chapleau Cree Band Office, Fox Lake on Friday July 14, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a potluck feast to follow. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.
