Obituary of Dale Starr

STARR, Dale - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend Dale Starr. Dale passed away unexpectedly in Thunder Bay on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at the age of 55 years. 

Dale’s presence here on earth will be dearly missed by his beloved children Jordan (Krystal), Megan, Dale Mercedes, Desiree and Lindsay. He was the adored grandfather to Emma, Kihanana, Paisley, Jersey, Asher, Tucker, Madysyn, Athena and Alliemay.  Dear brother of Lorrinda, Thomas (Maryann), Lori and Gilbert. Dale is predeceased and reunited with his father Norman Starr, and mother Sally Starr, his brother James Starr (Jesse), grand parents Thomas and Viola Starr, Clara and Antoine Moses.

Dale will return home to Biigtigong Nishnaabeg on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023 at 12 noon with a private viewing for family. A public visitation for friends and community to commence at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church. A funeral mass will follow on Thursday June 8th, 2023 at 12:00 noon followed by a burial at the Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Cemetery.
