Obituary of Donald Lewis Pott

POTT, Donald Lewis – Passed away at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Saturday October 31, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Dear husband of Dorothy “Deany” and the late Evelyn Pott. Amazing father of ; Donna Coley (Cam), Fred Pott, late Dorothy Beaudoin (Gerry), Gigi Owens, Ken Pott and step-father of Craig Spooner, Glyn Spooner (Diane) and Andrew Spooner. Proud grandfather of 15, great grandfather of 15 and great great grandfather of 1. Dear brother of; Dorothy Unrau (Bill), Harry Pott (late Dorothy and Marion), the late Elison Pott (late Lucy), the late Wilfred Pott (late Jessie and Jean), the late Violet Spence (late Mac) and also predeceased by an infant sister. Don is also survived by his aunt Violet and her family of Banbury, England as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The owner of Superior Electric, Don was also a familiar face in and around Wawa, donating his energies to volunteering with the Pathfinders, Legion and Lions Club. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing darts, but his favourite past times were golfing in Wawa and his second home Harlingen, Texas, or just getting together with good friends over a good meal and a bottle of wine. Don was a generous, loving man, husband, father and friend. He was loved by everyone who knew him and he will be greatly missed by all. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Saturday November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. The family want to thank the wonderful staff at the Lady Dunn Health Centre, especially Dr. M. Cotterill, Dr . C. Stamler and the nursing staff. Thank you for the loving care you gave to all of us. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Lady Dunn Health Centre (P.O.
