Obituary of John Joseph Starr

STARR, John Joseph - The Family is sad to announce his sudden passing on Wednesday January 4, 2023 at 57 years of age.

John is survived by his daughter Aireal Starr (Nolan Dokis), Aireal’s mother Amanda Desmoulin, his sister Priscilla Starr (Carlson), his niece Mariah Starr (Darren), nephews Trevor and Harold Starr, and goddaughter Chalynne Courchene. He is also survived by his uncles David Starr (Elizabeth) and Duncan Michano and aunts Cindy Fisher (Arthur), Audrey Bouchie, Patricia Starr, Sheila Nabigon, Annie Wenger-Nabigon and numerous cousins. John is predeceased by his parents Lester and Celine Starr, his brothers Harold and Joseph Starr, his sister Rita Starr, and his grandparents, Monica Nabigon, Joe Gagnon, Clem Nabigon, Tom and Viola Starr,  and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, Biigtigong Nishnaabeg (Pic River) beginning on Monday January 9, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. until  10:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Jerome Nnanna officiating.
