WARD, James Harvey – Went to meet his Creator on Sunday August 28, 2022 at the age of 63 years. James passed peacefully but unexpectedly at the Wilson Memorial General Hospital, Marathon, ON.

Beloved husband of Christine Desmoulin. Loving father of Shawn (Judie), Lisa and Tara (Steve). Proud grandfather of Sumer (Riley), Secret, Patience, Storm and Shawn Jr., Thomas, Autumn, Liam, Kya, Chase, Axel, Sarah, Abel and a 14th grandchild will arrive shortly. Great grandfather of Kendrick and Blake. Dear son of the late Marvina and James Ward. Dear brother of Wanda, Marilyn (late Raymond Tookenay), Franklin (Karen), the late Fredrick, the late Jeannette (Jean-Guy), the late Lester (late Jeannette), the late Alice (Wolfgang), the late Margaret (Orville) and the late Verna (late Roger). James will be remembered by his son-in-law Keith and by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Regis Church on Tuesday August 30, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Traditional Funeral Service on Thursday September 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
