Obituary of Melanie Hazel Marie Boucher

BOUCHER, Melanie Hazel Marie – Passed away unexpectedly at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday February 22, 2022 at the age of 49 years.

Beloved wife of Yves Boucher. Cherished mother of Natasha, Emmanuel, Kristine and the late baby Jacqueline. Loving daughter of the Sandra and Ted Pigeon. Dear sister of Albert Pigeon (Nathalie Roy). Daughter-in-law of Raymond Boucher (Lucille) and the late Suzanne Boucher. Dear sister-in-law of Luc Boucher (Louise), Joël Boucher (Lee-Ann) and Alain Boucher (Nicole). Melanie will be remembered by her nieces and nephews Maxime, Katrine (Alex), Myriam, Anne-Marie, Chloé, Samuel, Roch, Janelle and Spencer.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Sacred Heart Church on Friday  evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday February 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. (To accommodate more people in attendance at the church, the family has chosen to require that all attendees must provide proof of vaccination. Face masks/coverings will be required indoors. Also, due to a family member having sensitivities to fragrances, please refrain from wearing perfumes/colognes or other heavily scented products).

Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.
