So sorry to hear of Pat’s death. We all grew up together, and played a lot together as children and hung out in our teenage years. Over the years because I went west, we lost touch.
When growing up, Pat’s nickname was rabbit. I remember the day in woodworking class that he got it. Mr Green was our teacher and he was talking about different types of woodwork joints used to join boards. Pat had fallen asleep; Mr Green hollered Pat are you paying attention, Pat waking up immediately said, yes. Mr Green says, explain to the class what a rabbit is. Pat, not giving it much thought said, it’s a small furry animal that runs through the bush. From that day forward he was called Rabbit…:) My sincere condolences to family and friends.
