ANSARA, Margaret "Marg" (nee McKay) - Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Chapleau Health Services on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Margaret was born in Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to Canada with her parents, settling in Timmins, Ontario. It was in Northern Ontario where she spent the majority of her life. Margaret was predeceased by her husband George Ansara of Timmins, Ontario. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her three children and their families: Mark Ansara (Christine) and his son Brian Ansara, Cathy Ansara and her daughter Jaime Fortin (Brendan), Justin Fortin (Dezirae) and great-grandaughter Myla, and Susan Ansara (Marc) and her children Jack and Catherine Mageau. Dear sister of Johnny McKay (Bonnie), Tommy McKay (Mila), Edmund McKay (Mary), late Sylvia McKay and late Francis McKay. Marg will be lovingly remembered by Ian and her many nieces and nephews as well as her other dear friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #5 on Saturday September 5, 2020 from 12 noon until 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Chapleau Health Services Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the PSWs and staff at the Chapleau Health Services for their tireless dedication care and support.
