LACROIX, Georgette – Passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Monday June 1, 2020 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late David Lacroix. Loving mother of Roger Lacroix, Don Lacroix (Terra McLachlan) and the late Lillian Lacroix. Cherished grandmother of Luc Lortie (Gwen McKnight) and Chunk Lortie (Tamie). Proud great grandmother of Sienna Lortie, Destanie MacLeod, Zoe Lortie and Carson Lortie. Dear sister of the late Christine Waugh, the late Art Groulx, the late Ubert Groulx, the late Henri Groulx, the late Leo Groulx, the late Alphonse Groulx, the late Martin Groulx, the late Ernie Groulx and the late Irene Larcher. Georgette will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday June 4, 2020 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday June 5, 2020. DUE TO COVID-19 DURING THE VISITATION GROUPS OF 10 ONLY WILL BE ALLOWED. IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND, PLEASE CONTACT A FAMILY MEMBER TO ARRANGE A TIME TO VISIT. ONLY 9 PEOPLE MAY ATTEND THE FUNERAL MASS, IT WILL BE LIMITED TO THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. Georgette will be laid to rest at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery.
