Deepest condolences Gail, Lorraine and all the family. Willard was a very special, talented man and it was always a pleasure when he came to visit my husband Pierre and I in Buckingham, Quebec. Willard was researching the family tree and gathering information for his book "Silver Creek, The Center of the World". We spent time going thru family photos and talking of past times and the folks we had in common. He sure had a grasp on the lineage of the relatives; he is my second cousin.
He will be missed and may he now fly with the angels.
Rhonda Robitaille Dumas and Pierre Dumas

My dear brother, Willard, I will always miss you. I am remembering our life growing up on the farm with no electricity, no running water, no inside bathroom facilities and only a wood stove for cooking and heating. We were always there for each other. You taught me many things from how to tap a maple tree to playing badminton (no rackets), between 2 large grain bins. A special time was when we went to school on horseback because the snow was over my waist in our long lane way. With only a halter and me hanging on to your waist, you guided our horse to our 1 room school. I am reliving those memories in your book, “Silver Creek...”. Thank you dear brother.
My thoughts and prayers are with you dear Gail. God bless.
Lorraine

Deepest condolences to you Aunty Gail, Mom, and all of Uncle Willard’s Family and close friends. Uncle Willard certainly lived a full life and left us a legacy of kindness, leadership, music, and a love of education and literature. We have fond memories of visits to Wawa, picking blueberries, family sing alongs and get togethers. He left the world a better place for having been here. With much love, Chris,Bonnie, and Family xoxo
