SELIN, Betty Mae (nee Drebitt) – Betty was born on November 11, 1927 and passed away February 17, 2020 peacefully at the Lady Dunn Health Centre. Betty moved to Finntown (a suburb of Hawk Junction, ON) with her newborn son in 1953 to settle with her husband Harry (predeceased in 1990). Predeceased by her parents Jack and Elma Drebitt and by her siblings Lloyd and Delia. Betty leaves behind her son Michael (Nancy) of Hornepayne, grandsons Glen (Leslie) of Fort McMurray and Paul (Elisa) of Edmonton and her great granddaughters Jillian, Abby and Nina all of Fort Mc Murray. She enjoyed a full life in the same house for 67 years. She will be remembered fondly by her friends, neighbors and family as a strong willed women who enjoyed life to the fullest. You probably won’t find a book she hasn’t read at the library in Wawa. Read on Betty. As per Betty’s wishes, no funeral services will take place. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. (Arrangements entrusted to Kerry Funeral Home, Wawa, 1-800-439-4937). www.kerryfuneralhome.ca
