Fils bien-aimé de Laura et feu Lucien Poirier. Frère bien-aimé de Monique (Jules), Aline (Marcelin), Jeannette (feu Yvon), Lucienne (feu Claude), Arthur (Brigitte), Marcel (Gloria). Se souviendront de lui son meilleur ami Richard « Rick » Therrien et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Selon la volonté de Gerry il n’y aura pas de funérailles.
