Obituary of E. Eileen Tremblay

TREMBLAY, Eileen (nee Kane) – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Bignucolo Residence just three days before her 100th birthday.  Beloved wife of the late Conrad Tremblay.  Supportive and caring mother of Louise Etter (Brian) and Paul Tremblay (Lynn Faragher).  Loving grandmother of Eileen, Alex and Sam.  Proud great grandmother of Olivia and another great grandchild due in February 2018.  Daughter of the late John Kane and Mary (nee Bennett). Dear sister of late Margaret Rose Kane, late Brigid Cooper (late Wally), Maureen Glenton (Stan), late Kathleen Murphy (late Kevin) and Nora Kane.  Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her godson Peter Tremblay and her many nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Church on Friday September 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating.  Interment of cremated remains at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery.  Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.  Memorial donations made to the Sacred Heart Church or to the Chapleau Health Services “Caring Project” would be greatly appreciated by the family.  (Arrangements entrusted to the P.M.
