Obituary of Jack Mason

MASON, Jack - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday August 21, 2017 at the Wilson Memorial General Hospital, Marathon at the age of 72 years.  Beloved husband and best friend of Lynn for 52 years.  Devoted and loving dad of Nancy Mason-McGaughey (Wayne), Janie Mason-Forsell (Stephen), Laura-Lee Chamberlain (Denis), Tyler Mason (Laurie Bell) and Trevor Mason (Alicia Desjardins).  Jack is predeceased by his eldest grandson John-Wayne.  He is the most amazing Papa of Shayne, Samantha, Mason, Nick, Dylan, Kate-Lynn, Ryleah, Tyler, Chaase and Madison.  Proud great papa of Damian, Aiden and Tiia. Son of the late John and Agnes Mason.  Dear brother of Jim Mason (Jo) and Dave Mason (Lisa).  Son-in-law of the late Louis and Erlyn Davieaux.  Brother-in-law of the late Russell Davieaux (Carol), Jerry Davieaux (late Carol) and Gary Davieaux.  Jack will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.  Cremation will take place at the River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the backyard of Jack and Lynn’s home (6 Chisholm Trail, Marathon) on Saturday August 26, 2017 beginning at noon.  (Please bring your own lawn chair).  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the “Jack Mason Estate” would be greatly appreciated.  (Arrangements entrusted to the P.M.
