Obituary of Nestor John Erechook

ERECHOOK, Nestor John – Very peacefully with his family by his side at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Friday June 23, 2017 in his 96th year.  Loving companion of Ann Hicks, the late Gayle Katzenback and the former husband of Ruth Erechook.  The most loving father of Ken “Butch” (Luanne), Richard “Dick” (Anne), Bernie (Lori), Beth Vachon (Paul), Debbie Kienitz (Ralph), the late Linda, the late infant twins Barry and Bonnie.  Nestor will be lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and18 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by one brother and 5 sisters.  Nestor will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  He will be remembered as one of Wawa’s business pioneer’s.  At Nestor’s request, cremation will take place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.  A private family interment of his ashes will take place at Woodland Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #429 on Thursday June 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.  A Royal Canadian Legion Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Masonic Lodge Service at 1:15 p.m.  Memorial donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #429 would be greatly appreciated by the family.  (Arrangements entrusted to the P.M.
