Obituary of Ronald E. Derasp

DERASP, Ronald E. “Ron” -  After a long battle with cancer he died peacefully at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Sunday April 30, 2017 at the age of 66 years.  Good friend and ex-husband of Bev Derasp (Ron B.).  Loving father of Ron Jr. (special friend Trudy Becker) and Sharon Reil (husband John) and “special father” of Jen Longpre (Mitch).  Proud grandfather of Donovan and Mika.  Dear brother of Reggie Derasp (Lynne), Vern Derasp (Diane), late Viola, Lucille (Tal), Aline (Jim), Jeanne (Marcel), Denise (Pat), Romeo (Grace), Rheal (Pauline), Roland (Penny), Robert (Mary-lou) and Theresa (Roy).  Ron will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  A private family funeral service was held.  Cremation at River’s Edge Cremation Centre.  The family would like to thank all of the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Lady Dunn Health Centre for their care of Ron and for the compassion shown to his family.  (Arrangements entrusted to the P.M.
