COCKBURN, David R. – Passed away peacefully at the Chapleau Health Services on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Susan for 44 years. Loving father of Jennifer Lemire (Paul), Cynthia Barlow (Tyler), Brandon Cockburn and Kaylea Lemire. Proud grandfather of Joshua, Nicholas and Elizabeth. Son of the late John and Mary Cockburn. Dear brother of the late James Cockburn (Marion). Son-in-law of the late Margaret and Clyde Fife. Dear brother-in-law of Kathryn Fuller (John) and Robert Fife (Naomi). David will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at the Trinity United Church on Saturday September 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Lee officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Chapleau Health Services Foundation or to the Chapleau Health Services Activation Department would be greatly appreciated by the family.
