Obituary of Lynda Kahara

KAHARA, Lynda Rae – Passed away peacefully at the Hornepayne Community Hospital on Friday, August 28, 2026 at the age of 79 years.

Beloved wife of the late Eli Kahara. Loving mother of Gilbert Kahara (Jeanne), Laura Bayford (George) and the late infant William Kahara. Proud grandmother of Cassandra Bayford (Mathieu Brule), Eric Bayford, Benjamin Kahara (Melissa Quinn), and Joseph Kahara (Kiana Wells). Great grandmother of Bennett Brule and Avery Brule. Daughter of the late Gladys and Arthur Powell. Dear sister of Karen Crockett (Bill).

A graveside service will take place at the Hornepayne Cemetery, (8 Becker Road) on Thursday, September 3 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ted Scheniman officiating. (If it is raining, the service will be held at the Calvary Pentecosal Church).
