

Obituary of Lawrence Cashmore
CASHMORE, Lawrence - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Marathon, Ontario on Monday February 23, 2026 at the age of 80 years.
Beloved husband of Sharon for 60 years. Cherished and outstanding father of Larry (Helene) and Joey. Exceptional grandfather of Cindy (Joe), Lawrence, Keith, Bradley and Eric. Proud great grandfather of Ryan, Hannah and Amaya. Son of the late Lawrence and Kathleen Cashmore. Dear brother of Dale, Randy (Katie), the late Debbie (late Jack), Christine, Myles (Holly), Connie (Alex), Shelley (Terry), and Owen (Sharon). Son in law of the late Kenneth Harrison and the late Lois Hoover (late Morris). Dear brother-in-law of the late Betty (late Paul), Ken (Patti), Doug (Karon), Billy (Larry), and the late David. Uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend of Delroy Thibeault and John Mcleod.
Larry will be remembered for his love of fishing and the great outdoors. He was a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays.
At Larry's request, there will be no funeral services. Cremation at River's Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.
Memorial donations made to the Wilson Memorial General Hospital Foundation, Marathon or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
