Obituary of Sheila Lapointe

LAPOINTE, Sheila – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Hogarth Riverview Manor, Thunder Bay on Friday October 31, 2025 at the age of 73 years.

Beloved wife of Dominique Lapointe. Loving mother of the Nathaniel Moses (Cecile Moore), the late Natalie Moses (Roger Young), the late Nadine Moses (late Douglas Finlayson) and her step-children Blair Owere and Renee Mann. Grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 1. Daughter of the late Clara and Antoin Moses. Dear sister of Martina, the late Renson, Lyndsay, Garland, Raphael, Gulbert, late Velda, late Sally-May and late Darlene. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Church, Biigtigong Nishnaabeg, on Tuesday November 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral mass on Thursday November 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jerome Nnanna officiating. Interment at the Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Cemetery.
