I worked on the curve gang, CP Rail, in 1983 with John and we kept in touch over the years. I live in Nova Scotia and took my family to visit John approximately 1994 and my wife and I visited with him again in 2015. Shared lots of hard days work on the CPR and many beers and we were always eager for both. We looked forward to our yearly chats to kick off Daytona. We are sorry to hear of John’s passing. Our condolences to the family.
