Obituary of Andre Joly

JOLY, Andre – Peacefully passed away at the Chapleau Health Centre on Thursday July 17, 2025 at the age of 82 years.

Beloved husband of the late Lynda Joly. Loving father of Shelley (Dave), Marilyn (Ian) and Christine (Dan). Proud poppa of McCulla (Lucia), Liam, Ben (Amanda), Mollie (Tim), Donivan (Ava), Emilie (Christos) and Alex (Adrienne). Cherished great poppa of Beckham. Eldest brother of Gerry (Stephanie), Raymond (Louise), Normand (Lise), Lorraine (Remi) and the late Jackie (late Jack). Andre will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. Family and friends are invited to visit at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday July 23, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the memorial mass at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Ben Nshikita officiating. Following the mass a celebration of Andre’s life will take place at his home (25 Mulligan’s Bay Road) from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Please bring your musical instruments – Dad would’ve loved the music. Let’s gather to honour him with love, laughter and good memories.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff that took such great care of Andre while he was in their care.
