Obituary of Fred St. John

St. JOHN, Fredrick (Fred) – Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday May 4, 2025 at the age of 73.

Three weeks shy of their 51st wedding anniversary, loving husband of Marjorie. Cherished papa of Kaleb, Samson, Davis Hoffman-St. John and Shelby Nadon. Father of Heidi and Daniel St. John. Son of Helen St. John. Dear brother of Ken (Sheryl) and Randy (Sandra). Special Godfather of Charlene Betts, Kim Madill and Jane Marjorie Mountney. Fred will be remembered by his nieces and “special” uncle of Brian Olive. Brother-in-law of Patti (Brian) Bevington and Giselle Calder (Terry). Special bro of Leo Paquette and hunting partner Brian Dawson.

Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre Sault Ste. Marie, ON.  Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at the Chapleau Pentecostal Church (9 Elm Street, Chapleau, ON) on Wednesday May 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated by the family.
