Obituary of Gaetane Belanger

BELANGER, Gaetane – Décédée paisiblement au Centre de santé Lady Dunn le jeudi 24 avril 2025, à l'âge de 84 ans.

Épouse bien-aimée de Guy pendant 61 ans. Mère aimante de Gilles, Michèle (Patrick) et Gino. Fière grand-mère de Corinne, Éric, Kaleya et Keira. Arrière-grand-mère de deux enfants. Fille de feu Diana et Albert Levesque. Chère sœur de Juliette, Eliana et Adeline, précédée dans la mort par ses autres frères et sœurs. Belle-fille de Julie et Michel Belanger. Belle-sœur d'Eliane, Rejeanne et de ses autres sœurs et beaux-frères décédés. Elle restera dans la mémoire de ses nombreux neveux et nièces.

À la demande de Gaetane, il n'y aura pas de service funéraire pour le moment. La crémation a eu lieu au River's Edge Cremation Centre, à Sault Ste. Marie.

La famille apprécierait grandement que des dons commémoratifs soient faits à la Société Alzheimer.

BELANGER; Gaetane – Passed away peacefully at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Thursday April 24, 2025 at the age of 84 years.

Beloved wife of Guy for 61 years. Loving mother of Gilles, Michèle (Patrick) and Gino. Proud grandmother of Corinne, Eric, Kaleya, and Keira. Great grandmother of 2. Daughter of the late Diana and Albert Levesque. Dear sister of Juliette, Elianna, Adline, and predeceased by her other siblings. Daughter-in-law of Julie and Michel Belanger. Sister-in-law of Eliane, Rejeanne and her other late sisters and brothers-in-laws. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

At Gaetane’s request there will not be any funeral service at this time. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.

Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
