Obituary of Olwen Perry

PERRY, Olwen Audrey – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Chapleau Health Services on Friday April 11, 2025 in her 94^th year.

Beloved wife of Leonard for 69 years. Loving mother of Cynthia Perry (Joseph Belfiori), Craig Perry, and Cheryl MacDonald (Michael). Cherished grandmother of Brady (Charisse), Brittany, Brandon (Allyson), Shawna-Marie (Dean). Great grandmother of Hunter, Ava, Adysen, Liam, Mason, Peyton, Fleetwood, Brooks, Bowen and Heath. Daughter of the late Audrey and Samuel Tripp. Survived by sister Eluned (late Don), and brothers Trevor (Karen) and Derwyn (Patti). Olwen will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Olwen lived a full and happy life. She will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, generosity, compassionate and kind personality. She made friends wherever she went, not just friends but lifelong friendships.  

Cremation has taken place at the River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. At Olwen’s request, there will be no funeral service.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Chapleau Health Services for their outstanding care and compassion. A special thank you to the PSWs who went above and beyond every day, and many thanks to the staff at the adult day program who brought so much joy to Olwen’s life
