Obituary of Robert Engelmann Sr.

ENGELMANN, William Robert “Bob” – Passed away peacefully at Sante Manitouwadge Health with family by his side on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the age of 81 years.
Devoted father of Robert Jr. (Lisa Budden) and Bobbi Jo and very loving grandfather of Justin.  He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Ruby Engelmann and sister Judy Fairbarn (Engelmann|).  He will be missed by his siblings Loraine (Ben), Ron (Shirley) and Richard.  Uncle Bob will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a man of many stories as his life was extraordinary with his various employments and adventures. Bob was a very loyal man and respected amongst his peers, friends and family. He will be greatly missed.
Bob was a very hard-working man. He worked in the forest industry for many years starting at camp 70. When Bob retired from the bush industry, he started a new venture with Manroc Develpments. Bob loved and worked for Manroc up to his retirement at the age of 80.

As per dad’s wishes, there will be no funeral. Cremation will take place at River's Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.  In lieu of flowers and food, donations can be made to the Manitouwadge Animal Shelter as Bob loved all animals. Angel sure is going to miss him and his breakfast sausage!
